The Vodafone Smart II is actually Alcatel V860 and just branded and rebadged by Vodafone. Alcatel do not have a huge Android record so we expect this time it fares okay.
It’s a budget device, so not a high-end monster of a Smartphone by any stretch of the imagination, other than it will hopefully have its uses and give options to the lower priced market. This is what we will be looking at and if it is the best option out there for you in the £100 and under category.
Considering the original Vodafone Smart was a little bit of a letdown I am not holding up much hope, although I hope to be impressed by the second coming from the Smart branding, we shall have to wait and observe of course. The price of the Vodafone Smart 2 is a very good £70 and you can order in store or by popping in a local Vodafone outlet. It comes in either white or grey. Will the Smart 2 beat the competition? Will it e ven beat its predecessor the original Smart that is now at a very low £40? Well let us go and find out shall we.
